Llandudno – Monday 19th to Friday 23rd August 2019
Explore the beautiful Welsh Victorian seaside resort of Llandudno, at the foot of the Great Orme, along with stunning scenery in the Snowdonia National Park.
Day 1 – Travel to Llandudno for a 4 night stay, calling on route via Chester
Day 2 – After a lovely Welsh breakfast head across the Menai Strait to the Isle of Anglesey, an island of treasures and be sure the visit to quaint, historic streets or Beamaris and the famous Llanfair PG.
Day 3 – A full day excursion today incorporating the medieval walled town of Caernarfon with its mighty 13th century castle, before heading into the heart of Snowdonia to the lovely village of Llanberis where you can visit the National Slate Museum. Carry on the journey through the breath-taking mountains of Llanberis Pass and continue to Betws-y-Coed where you can get out and explore this village by foot.
Day 4 – Free day to explore Llandudno. The Victorians and Edwardians loved to visit Llandudno and it is easy to see why. They called it the Queen of the Welsh Resorts, and graced it with some of the most elegant seaside architecture in Britain. You can stroll along the elegant promenade, watch Punch & Judy and enjoy the vintage charm of the Great Orme Tramway.
Day 5 – Sadly, it’s time for home
